Limão

Located northeast of Vila Porto Rico, the property contains 120 square kilometres of mining rights in Pará State, Brazil. The property contains historic bedrock mines that exploited high-grade gold mineralization, and associated placer mining operations. Previous drilling has identified two high-grade bedrock intercepts:

  • 3 m @ 47.9 g/t Au
  • 6.9 m @ 18.7 g/t Au

Gold mineralization is steeply dipping and occurs within veinlets and disseminated sulfides, within an altered granitoid dike. A systematic exploration program of mapping, and sampling will be completed, prior to diamond drilling, planned for 2007. The exploration program will expand the area of known mineralization along strike.
